Axcent™ Light Blue is a named Aubrieta hybrida selection in Syngenta’s Axcent series, identified by product number 70017931. Syngenta lists blue flowers, early-spring flowering, a mounding habit, and garden dimensions of about 10 cm high by 10–12 inches wide. Its low, spreading outline works well in a rock garden, at a sunny border edge, or where stems can drape over stone.
## Placement and growing conditions
Plant in full sun or light shade in soil that drains freely. Aubrieta tolerates a range of garden settings but should not sit in waterlogged soil. RHS recommends neutral to alkaline, well-drained ground for Aubrieta and lists rock gardens, containers, slopes, borders, and ground cover as suitable settings. Water new plants while roots establish; reduce irrigation once growth is settled and rainfall is adequate.
## Seasonal care
Syngenta places Axcent flowering in early spring and notes that vernalization is required for commercial production. After the flowers fade, a light trim can keep the mound compact. The closely related RHS garden profile notes possible aphids, leaf and bud eelworms, flea beetles, and white blister; inspect plants before intervening.

## Maintenance
Use light post-flowering trimming only as needed and keep the crown out of persistently wet soil.
