Aurinia saxatilis 'Gold Rush' is a compact, low-growing evergreen perennial that forms a dense, creeping mound of light grey-green foliage. In early spring, it erupts with a profusion of showy, bright yellow flowers that attract bees and other pollinators. This uniform variety is ideal for rock gardens, mixed borders, and containers, thriving in well-drained, gritty, or rocky soils. It is drought-tolerant once established and performs best in full sun, requiring a post-bloom prune.
