About Scopia® Guilliver Compact Rosa Bacopa

Scopia® Gulliver™ Compact Rosa is a compact bacopa selected for rose-pink flowers, a low profile, and branching growth. It provides a soft color layer in mixed pots and hanging baskets, while its small scale also suits the front of a moist garden bed. ## Cultivar and landscape use Danziger identifies Compact Rosa as Bacopa (Sutera cordata) and lists it in the distinct SCOPIA® GULLIVER™ COMPACT series. Its breeder page gives a compact 4–6 in. (10–15 cm) height and 12–14 in. (30–36 cm) width and recommends pots and hanging baskets. The [Danziger cultivar listing](https://www.danzigeronline.com/catalog/annuals/scopia-gulliver-compact-rosa/) gives the exact trade identity; its technical series sheet distinguishes Rosa from the separate Compact Blush, Purple, and White forms and lists spring/summer flowering. ## Growing conditions Illinois Extension recommends full sun to very light afternoon shade for bacopa, in moist, well-drained soil. Even moisture supports flowering; dry soil can interrupt bloom and cause buds to drop. Use a container with drainage and enough volume to avoid rapid drying, or site it where regular irrigation is practical. ## Maintenance Check containers regularly in warm weather and water before the root zone dries. Keep the growing medium moist but freely drained. If stems become untidy or extend beyond the intended edge, shorten them lightly to restore the compact shape.
