Versa™ Pink Shine Bacopa (Sutera)

Versa™ Pink Shine is a Ball FloraPlant Bacopa cultivar selected for pink flowers and a compact, upright-to-mounding habit. Its listed mature size is about 0.2 m tall and 0.3–0.5 m wide; the breeder gives a 10–15 cm height and 30–46 cm spread. ### Flowers and placement The breeder describes Pink Shine as medium mounded, with upright growth that resists tangling in close container production, and recommends it for small pots and baskets ([Ball FloraPlant product details](https://www.ballfloraplant.com/Products/Details/?phid=008505881042257)). Illinois Extension describes ornamental bacopa as a low, spreading plant and recommends full sun to light afternoon shade; it also reports that flowering can be interrupted when soil dries ([Illinois Extension](https://extension.illinois.edu/flowers/bacopa)). The Extension bloom window is for bacopa generally, so local timing for this named cultivar can vary. ### Growing conditions Use a well-drained mix and keep it evenly moist during active growth. This tender ornamental is commonly grown as a seasonal container plant in climates colder than its listed hardiness range. ## Maintenance Check containers regularly in warm or windy weather and water when the mix begins to dry; avoid leaving roots in waterlogged soil. Pinch or trim lightly if needed to shape the mound, following the breeder’s culture guidance.
