About Desert Marigold

Baileya multiradiata, commonly known as the desert marigold, is a resilient short-lived perennial or biennial native to the arid regions of the Southwest. It forms a low mound of attractive, woolly, silver-gray foliage that provides a striking contrast to its brilliant yellow, daisy-like flowers. These blooms rise on long, leafless stems and appear from spring through fall. Ideal for xeriscaping and rock gardens, it thrives in well-drained soil and requires minimal water once established.
