Bossa Nova™ Pure White is a Begonia boliviensis selected for white flowers and a branched, mounding-to-trailing habit. It brings a clean flower color to hanging baskets and larger patio containers, where stems can arch and spill over the edge.
## Flowers and placement
Syngenta lists this cultivar for flowering from mid-spring through summer and gives garden dimensions of 12–16 inches tall by 16–20 inches wide. Norseco also identifies the cultivar as a white-flowered Bossa Nova begonia for containers and hanging baskets. The two listings differ in mature height: Norseco gives 41–51 cm, so finished size can vary with crop time and growing conditions; the Syngenta range is used here for the label fields.
## Growing
Choose a container with drainage and a loose potting mix that holds moisture without remaining saturated. Bossa Nova plants are listed for sun through shade, and their response will vary with heat and exposure; check pots regularly during warm spells. Syngenta lists hardiness zones 9a–11a and markets the cultivar as an annual. ## Maintenance
Remove damaged foliage and keep drainage clear. In regions with freezing winters, treat it as a seasonal plant or protect its tuber from frost.
