Dibs® Butterscotch - Begonia

Dibs™ Butterscotch is a Rex Begonia in Green Fuse Botanicals’ Dibs collection, grown for its patterned foliage. Proven Winners lists green and red foliage, a mounded habit, and a 15–18 inch mature height and spread. It suits shaded containers or a protected houseplant setting. ## Foliage and placement The [Proven Winners profile](https://www.provenwinners.com/plants/begonia/dibs-butterscotch-rex-begonia-begonia-rex) identifies Dibs Butterscotch as Begonia rex and lists green and red foliage. It gives a mounded form, 15–18 inches high and wide, and part shade to shade exposure. It also describes the plant as grown for foliage and suitable for containers or houseplant use. Rex begonias are tender and need protection from frost. Use a shaded position in summer with a free-draining mix; keep it moist without allowing water to stand around the roots. The plant can be moved indoors when outdoor temperatures become too cold. ## Maintenance Keep the mix consistently moist during active growth while ensuring excess water drains away. Reduce watering in winter, remove damaged leaves, and shelter from frost.
