Dibs® Thin Mint - Begonia

Begonia Rex Dibs™ ‘Thin Mint’ is a foliage begonia selected for its cool mint-green and silver leaf pattern, dark veining, and compact container presence. Its exact retail identity is supported by the [Green Fuse Botanicals Dibs™ series page](https://green-fuse.com/new/begonia-rex-dibs/), which lists Thin Mint as a member of the series; an exact-product listing describes its mint and silver leaves with dark margins. ## Growing conditions Rex begonias are rhizomatous foliage plants generally grown in containers or as houseplants. The [North Carolina Extension profile](https://plants.ces.ncsu.edu/plants/begonia-rex-types/) describes the group’s colorful foliage and recommends bright indirect light, moist well-drained soil, and high humidity while cautioning against overwatering. Protect from cold and intense direct sun; performance outdoors depends on climate. ## Maintenance Allow the surface of the potting mix to begin drying between waterings, then water thoroughly and drain excess. Avoid waterlogged media and provide good air movement; protect the leaves from harsh direct sun.
