Create design onlineAbout Dragon Wing® White Begonia
Dragon Wing® White is the white-flowered member of the large-flowered interspecific series and works as a bedding, container, or hanging-basket plant. PAS1484340 has arching stems and starts blooming slightly earlier than Pink; flowers may blush in warmer conditions. This warm-season selection carries its display from spring into autumn.
## Growing conditions
Plants typically reach 12–15 inches tall and 15–18 inches wide. Plant outdoors after frost danger has passed. Dragon Wing adapts to sun or shade, but partial shade helps protect foliage in hot afternoon conditions. Use fertile, humus-rich soil that stays evenly moist while draining well; do not let containers stand in water or dry completely. Allow room for the mature plant, and use a roomy container or hanging basket for its arching stems.
## Season and care
The breeder lists flowering from spring through autumn and describes vigorous, easy-care performance in warm southern conditions as well as cooler regions. Remove damaged stems as needed and keep fallen flowers swept from hard surfaces. The University of Arkansas extension also notes heat and humidity tolerance and recommends fertile, well-drained organic soil.
## White flowering form
White flowers brighten a shaded patio or soften a mixed summer container. The exact product record lists this selection as a vigorous interspecific begonia with a long warm-season display. Because the flowers may pick up blush tones in heat, color can shift somewhat through the season.

## Maintenance
Keep soil evenly moist and well drained, and wait until frost danger has passed before planting outdoors. Remove damaged stems as needed; routine deadheading is not required for an ongoing display.
