Bada Boom® Mix Begonia

Bada Boom® Mix is an F1 Begonia semperflorens selection in Syngenta’s bronze-leaved Bada Boom® series. The compact, well-branched plants reach 8–10 inches tall and 6–8 inches wide, with flowering from mid-spring through summer. The mixed flower colors suit bedding, low borders, window boxes, and patio containers. ## Growing conditions Plant in full shade, part shade, or part sun, and use moist, humus-rich soil that drains freely. Wax begonias adapt to varied light conditions; bronze-leaved varieties tend to perform better in sunnier locations. NC State Extension also lists Bada Boom® Mix among wax begonias and describes the group’s mounded form and container, window-box, and border uses. See [Syngenta’s Bada Boom® Mix profile](https://www.syngentaflowers.com/ams/product/flower/70018268) and the [NC State Extension guide](https://plants.ces.ncsu.edu/plants/begonia-wax-types/common-name/wax-leaf-begonia/). ## Maintenance Keep the soil evenly moist but well drained, and water during dry spells. Inspect for mealybugs, thrips, rot, and fungal disease. In cold climates, remove plants after frost or bring container plants indoors before temperatures fall.
