Bada Boom White Dwarf Begonia

Bada Boom® White is an F1 Begonia semperflorens selection in Syngenta’s bronze-leaved Bada Boom® series. It has white flowers and a compact, mounding form; Syngenta lists an 8–10 inch height, 6–8 inch spread, and flowering from mid-spring through summer. Its small scale suits bedding, borders, window boxes and patio containers. ## Growing conditions Choose full shade, part shade, or part sun, and plant in moist, humus-rich soil that drains freely. The exact [Syngenta Bada Boom® White profile](https://www.syngentaflowers.com/ams/product/flower/70018259) identifies the selection, bronze-leaved series, flowering time, exposure, habit and mature dimensions. [NC State Extension’s wax begonia guide](https://plants.ces.ncsu.edu/plants/begonia-wax-types/common-name/wax-leaf-begonia/) gives general soil and care guidance for wax begonias. ## Maintenance Keep the soil evenly moist without allowing standing water, and water during dry spells. Inspect for mealybugs, thrips, rot and fungal disease. In cold climates, use as seasonal bedding or bring container plants indoors before frost.
