About Harmony Plus White Dwarf Dark Leaf Begonia

Harmony Plus White pairs white flowers with dark bronze foliage on a compact, mounding wax begonia. Ball Seed lists it in the Harmony Plus group, selected for larger blooms, earlier flowering, and darker foliage than original Harmony; the series is listed at 8–10 inches tall and 6–8 inches wide ([Ball Seed](https://info.ballseed.com/PlantInfo/?phid=009208839005863)). ## Placement and growing conditions Use the pale flowers to brighten shaded borders, low annual beds, or mixed containers. Ball Seed lists sun to partial sun; University of Minnesota Extension recommends shade or morning sun and protection from hot afternoon exposure. Choose well-drained soil and provide regular moisture without leaving roots saturated ([University of Minnesota Extension](https://extension.umn.edu/garden-and-home/yard-and-garden/gardening-in-minnesota/begonia)). ## Seasonal care Plant out after frost danger and water near the soil surface. Monitor containers during warm weather, since they can dry more quickly than beds. The existing minimum zone value is retained; the breeder profile does not establish a maximum zone. ## Maintenance Remove damaged foliage and debris as needed. Maintain airflow and avoid routinely wetting leaves during watering.
