Begonia SILVER™ 'Treasure'

Begonia SILVER™ ‘Treasure’ is a large, dense begonia grown for wavy silver leaves and soft pink flowers. Its mounding habit makes it useful in mixed containers and shaded garden beds. ## Foliage and flowering The [Terra Nova cultivar profile](https://www.terranovanurseries.com/product/begonia-silver-treasure/) describes silver foliage, pink flowers, a 14 inch height and 25 inch width. The [SILVER collection page](https://www.terranovanurseries.com/products/begonia-silver-collection/) notes pink flowers in late summer and explains that the collection can be grown as an annual or perennial depending on climate. ## Growing conditions Terra Nova recommends full shade and fertile, rich, moist soil with good porosity. Keep the root zone evenly moist without waterlogging. Its cultivar profile lists zones 8–11 and notes that Treasure can be perennial in zone 7 with mulch; use winter protection in colder sites. ## Maintenance Water consistently and allow excess to drain. Avoid overhead irrigation and crowded conditions, which can contribute to disease. Mulch the root area where winter protection is needed.
