Begonia T REX™ 'Dancing Peacock'

T REX® ‘Dancing Peacock’ is a vigorous begonia grown for large palmate leaves in rose purple, silver and olive green. Its broad, mounding form works in large containers, shade borders or as a houseplant. ## Foliage and size The [Terra Nova cultivar profile](https://www.terranovanurseries.com/product/begonia-dancing-peacock/) lists a mature size of 24 inches tall by 28 inches wide, with pink flowers and full-shade exposure. It recommends large containers and moist, fertile soil with good drainage. ## Growing conditions Provide full shade and keep the growing medium evenly moist without leaving roots waterlogged. Terra Nova lists USDA zones 8–11. The T REX® series is used indoors and outdoors, with cold tolerance varying by site and winter protection. ## Maintenance Remove damaged or aging leaves as needed to keep the mound tidy. Protect the foliage from direct sun and avoid overhead watering where practical.
