Begonia T REX™ 'St. Nick'

T REX® ‘St. Nick’ is a Terra Nova hybrid begonia with large leaves featuring a vivid red center, emerald-green areas, and white polka dots. Terra Nova lists a mature size of about 41 cm tall and wide, with pink flowers and a dense, mounding habit ([Terra Nova product profile](https://www.terranovanurseries.com/product/begonia-t-rex-st-nick/)). ### Seasonal display The breeder recommends full shade and lists hardiness zones 9–11. It describes the plant as vigorous, evergreen, and suited to containers, houseplant use, or landscape planting. The product profile gives no month-by-month flowering window, so flowering timing remains unresolved. The source identifies US patent PP26811 and EU grant EU46034 for this cultivar. ### Placement Use as a foliage accent in a shaded bed or mixed container. Terra Nova recommends fertile, rich soil with good porosity and even moisture. ## Maintenance Keep the root zone evenly moist without leaving it waterlogged. Shelter from harsh direct sun, remove damaged leaves as needed, and grow seasonally or protect the roots where winters are colder than its listed range.
