Begonia T REX™ 'Stardust'

T REX® ‘Stardust’ is a Terra Nova begonia with large leaves whose colors shift with temperature, creating a speckled, celestial pattern. The breeder lists an approximate mature size of 61 cm high by 76 cm wide and notes that the foliage may appear green, burgundy, violet, and cream-spotted ([Terra Nova product profile](https://www.terranovanurseries.com/product/begonia-t-rex-stardust/)). ### Seasonal display The exact cultivar is described as evergreen, fast growing, and mounding, with flowering listed from June through October. It is suited to full shade and listed for USDA zones 9–11. The breeder identifies patent number PP28647; foliage appearance varies with temperature, so color can shift over the season. ### Placement Use as a foliage focal point in a shaded border, large container, or houseplant setting. Terra Nova recommends fertile, rich, moist soil with good porosity and even watering. ## Maintenance Keep the medium evenly moist but well drained. Protect leaves from strong direct sun and remove damaged foliage as needed. In climates colder than its listed range, grow it seasonally or provide winter protection.
