BIG™ Pink w Green Leaf Begonia

BIG® Pink Green Leaf is a seed-raised Begonia × benariensis selected for large pink flowers and green foliage. Benary lists the plant at 28 inches tall and 23 inches wide, with vigorous, well-branched, uniform growth and tolerance of heat and rain. ## Flowering and use The selection is suited to landscape plantings and containers, including mixed containers and hanging baskets. Its mature size makes it useful where a substantial flowering begonia is wanted. Benary lists a spring crop time of 14–18 weeks. ## Growing conditions Benary recommends full sun to partial shade. The breeder describes this selection as heat and rain tolerant. The published dimensions are 28 inches high by 23 inches wide; the catalog labels retain the broader ranges already recorded for this plant. See the [Benary BIG® Pink Green Leaf product page](https://www.benary.com/products/begonia-x-benariensis-f1-big/big-pink-green-leaf-bb0103p) for the exact selection and item BB0103P. ## Maintenance Keep the planting area free of damaged foliage and check containers during warm weather. Use the breeder’s light guidance when choosing a site, and allow excess water to drain from containers.
