Bionic™ Bronze Leaf Rose Begonia

Bionic™ Bronze Leaf Rose is a seed-grown interspecific begonia with upright growth, bronze foliage, and rose-pink flowers. Syngenta lists the exact product as Begonia x hybrida, with a 20–24 inch height and 24–28 inch width; size can vary with growing conditions. ## Flowering and use The breeder lists flowering in late spring and summer and recommends the series for landscapes and containers. Its broad, branched form fits larger planters and garden beds where the plant can fill out without crowding neighbors. ## Growing conditions Bionic is listed for full shade through full sun and described as heat loving. Site it according to local exposure and temperature, and provide a well-drained growing medium. The [Syngenta product profile](https://www.syngentaflowers.com/ams/product/flower/70109447) gives exact flower color, dimensions, season, and hardiness. The [Bionic series guide](https://online.flippingbook.com/view/223248936) describes general performance and landscape/container uses. ## Maintenance Syngenta describes the Bionic series as self-cleaning, so deadheading is generally unnecessary. Remove damaged leaves as they appear and monitor container moisture during warm weather. Allow adequate space for the broad canopy.
