Bionic™ Green Leaf Pink Begonia

Bionic™ Green Leaf Pink is a seed-grown interspecific begonia with upright growth, green foliage, and pink-to-rose flowers. Syngenta lists the exact product as Begonia x hybrida, with a 20–24 inch height and 24–28 inch width; size varies with growing conditions. ## Flowering and use The breeder lists flowering in late spring and summer and recommends the Bionic series for landscapes and containers. The branched, broad plant works well in larger planters or beds where it has room to fill out. ## Growing conditions Syngenta lists exposure from full shade through full sun and describes the series as heat loving. Choose a site based on local climate and light, and use a well-drained planting medium. The [exact cultivar profile](https://www.syngentaflowers.com/ams/product/flower/70109448) gives its flower color, dimensions, bloom season, and hardiness; the [Bionic series guide](https://online.flippingbook.com/view/223248936) gives broader guidance on branching and use. ## Maintenance The breeder describes Bionic as self-cleaning, so deadheading is usually unnecessary. Remove damaged foliage when needed and keep an eye on container moisture during hot weather. Provide space for the broad habit.
