Royal Burgundy® is the trade name for the Japanese barberry cultivar ‘Gentry’, a compact shrub with dense growth and deep burgundy foliage. The foliage supplies the main ornamental display; small pale-yellow flowers are inconspicuous, and red berries may persist into fall. ## Siting Grow in full sun and well-drained soil.
