Berried Treasure Red Strawberry

Berried Treasure® Red is an everbearing garden strawberry that combines red semi-double flowers with small edible berries. Its short-runner habit suits a patio container or hanging basket, where flowers and fruit stay easy to see and pick. ## Garden use Grow it as an edible ornamental in a basket, raised bed, or sunny border. Proven Winners lists it for USDA zones 4–9; its daylength-neutral habit supports repeated flowering and fruiting through the growing season. See the [Proven Winners plant page](https://provenwinnersdirect.com/products/berried-treasure-red-strawberry) and the [Berried Treasure catalog](https://www.provenwinners.com/sites/provenwinners.com/files/catalogs_pdfs/s-6_proven_harvest_2023_canada.pdf). ## Growing conditions Provide full sun and fertile, well-drained soil that stays evenly moist. Let excess water drain freely from pots, and avoid allowing the root ball to dry to the point of wilting. ## Maintenance Feed regularly during active growth to support flowering and berry production. Remove spent flowers or damaged leaves as needed, and pick ripe berries promptly.
