About Heritage® River Birch

This vigorous deciduous tree is celebrated for its striking, multi-colored exfoliating bark that reveals creamy-white inner layers. It typically reaches 40 to 70 feet in height with an upright, oval habit and glossy dark green foliage that turns a vibrant yellow in autumn. Highly adaptable and heat-tolerant, it thrives in wet, riparian soils but also tolerates mild drought. It is notably resistant to the bronze birch borer and leaf spot, making it a reliable specimen for large landscapes.
