Compact Yellow Bidens

Namid™ Compact Yellow is a low, spreading Bidens with golden flowers and a well-branched habit. Its compact scale suits sunny containers, baskets, and seasonal beds. ## Garden use and appearance Ball Seed identifies the selection as Namid™ Compact Yellow Bidens, gives the cultivar code KLEBF21342, and lists Bidens ferulifolia as its species ([Ball Seed product listing](https://info.ballseed.com/PlantInfo/?phid=010005726001250)). The listing gives a mature height of 6–8 inches and width of 12–20 inches, describes the plant as heat tolerant, and recommends it for pots. The catalog’s existing height and width labels match those ranges. ## Growing conditions Grow in full sun in well-drained soil. Water when the potting mix begins to dry, especially in small containers and hanging baskets during warm weather. Its low, spreading outline can soften an edge while upright neighboring plants add height. ## Seasonal interest Ball Seed lists flowering from early spring through summer. Use the golden flowers as a bright edging accent or among other seasonal colors in a mixed pot. ## Maintenance Check containers regularly for moisture and feed according to the potting mix or fertilizer label. Pinch or trim stems lightly if they stretch beyond the intended outline. Remove damaged growth as needed, and treat it as a warm-season annual in frost-prone areas.
