Create design onlineAbout Fresco™ Candy Brachyscome angustifolia
Fresco™ Candy is a compact Brachyscome angustifolia with single, large dark-pink daisies and finely divided green foliage. Danziger describes early, continuous flowering and a mounded form suited to small pots and hanging baskets. Its trade identity is Fresco™ Candy in the Fresco™ series, as documented on the [Danziger variety page](https://www.danzigeronline.com/catalog/annuals/fresco-candy-2/) and [Fresco technical profile](https://www.danzigeronline.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/10/Fresco-info-page.pdf); the available breeder material does not establish a separate cultivar denomination.
## Landscape use
Use it near the edge of a small container, hanging basket or sunny seasonal display, where its low mound and flowers can be seen at close range. Danziger lists a mature height of 4–6 inches and spread of 8–10 inches. As with other container annuals, final size varies with planting date, light and growing conditions.
## Seasonal interest
The breeder describes flowering as early and continuous. Large single flowers rise above the fine foliage, with dark-pink color documented in Danziger’s technical profile. Calendar timing depends on local climate and planting date.
## Siting and soil
Provide a bright position and a free-draining growing medium. Danziger recommends high light for production quality and advises against overwatering young plants. In a finished container, water according to drying rate and weather; do not leave the root zone persistently saturated.
## Maintenance
Danziger’s production guide recommends pinching during liner or transplant stages to encourage branching. In finished displays, trim uneven stems and remove damaged or spent material as needed. Keep containers draining freely, especially during cool weather.
