Granvia® Gold is the yellow-flowered selection in the Granvia series, known for large, double papery flower heads and vigorous upright growth. Florensis lists it as a variety of Bracteantha bracteata; the Granvia brand groups the product within Xerochrysum, so trade references use both botanical names. See the [Florensis series page](https://www.florensis.com/en/products/bedding-plants/annuals/bracteantha-bracteata/bracteantha-bracteata-granvia) and [Granvia Gold profile](https://granvia.eu/product/granvia-gold/) for its production and flower traits.
## Landscape use
Use the tall stems as a sunny border accent or focal plant in a medium or large container. The breeder lists Gold in the Granvia series, with 50–60 cm mature height, large double flowers and pot use. The brand profile recommends pots and describes the flowers for fresh or dried arrangements.
## Seasonal interest
Granvia flowers early and Florensis reports remontant flowering through summer in suitable growing conditions. The Granvia Gold profile describes intensely bright yellow heads whose centers turn orange as flowers age. Warm weather and planting date affect the timing of the display.
## Siting and soil
Provide full sun and room for vigorous growth. Florensis notes heat tolerance and recommends 13–19 cm production pots. For garden planting, use a well-drained site and water during establishment; container plants may need more frequent checks in hot weather.
## Maintenance
Cut stems as flowers open for fresh arrangements, or allow heads to mature for dried displays. Remove spent stems when the display is finished and maintain clear drainage around the roots.
