InSpired Violet™ is the trade selection associated with Buddleja ‘ILVOargus2’, a deciduous shrub with fragrant mauve-purple flower spikes. It recommends full sun or partial shade and well-drained chalk, loam, or sandy soil. Acorn Farms lists the exact selection for full sun and describes its fragrance and appeal to butterflies and hummingbirds. ## Maintenance The RHS places this selection in pruning group 6. Prune in spring at the locally appropriate time for that group, removing spent wood to keep the shrub in shape.
