Flutterby Petite® Pink Butterfly Bush

Flutterby Petite® Pink is the trade name associated with patented Buddleja hybrid ‘Podaras #16’ (PP22,108). The [patent](https://patents.google.com/patent/USPP22108P2) describes a compact, outwardly spreading plant with sterile light-violet flowers, while the [RHS profile](https://www.rhs.org.uk/plants/313745/buddleja-flutterby-petite-pink-podaras-16-flutterby-petite-series/details) confirms the Flutterby Petite Pink and ‘Podaras 16’ association. The patent was granted September 6, 2011. ## Growing conditions The patent’s observations are from young greenhouse-grown plants rather than mature landscape specimens, so garden size will depend on climate and growing conditions. Its documented habit is compact and outwardly spreading. ## Maintenance Provide drainage and prune selectively to retain the desired form. In a mixed border or large container, allow room for outward growth and remove damaged stems as needed.
