Cake Pops® Purple Tuberous Verbena

Cake Pops® Purple is a purple-flowered Verbena rigida selection with a semi-upright, spreading habit. Proven Winners describes this branded line for sunny garden beds and container recipes, with flowers that continue through summer. ## Garden use The published garden dimensions are 10–18 inches in height and spread. Its spreading form suits a sunny border edge or a mixed container. The exact selection and dimensions appear in the [Proven Winners Cake Pops overview](https://www.provenwinners.com/sites/provenwinners.com/files/pdf/certified/2022_script_with_images.pdf); the current hardiness range, flowering, full-sun guidance and pollinator notes appear in the [Proven Winners Direct profile](https://provenwinnersdirect.com/blogs/annual-resources/2022-new-annuals-preview). ## Maintenance Plant in full sun and well-drained soil. Water container plants when the growing medium begins to dry, and avoid persistently waterlogged roots. The [RHS verbena growing guide](https://www.rhs.org.uk/plants/verbena/growing-guide) recommends sunny, freely drained conditions for verbenas.
