A cool season clumping grass with narrow leaves that are dwarfed by wheat colored flower stems which rise 2-4' above the foliage. One of the earliest grasses to appear in the spring. Variegated golden and green with stems that maintain a honey hue. In a mild winter, will remain evergreen.
