About Cabaret® Deep Blue Calibrachoa

Cabaret® Deep Blue is a medium, mounding calibrachoa with deep blue flowers ([Ball FloraPlant](https://www.ballfloraplant.com/Products/Details/?phid=066003480000653)). Ball FloraPlant describes it as an early-flowering selection that continues to flower under low-light production conditions and fits pots from about 4.5 inches through large baskets. Its rich blue color brings a cool accent to mixed containers and summer displays. ## Garden use Plant Deep Blue in a sunny container, basket, or seasonal bed edge. The Cabaret series is selected for early flowering and uniform performance, and this variety can be combined with yellow, white, or pink calibrachoas for contrast. ## Light, soil, and water Choose full sun and fertile, moist but well-drained soil ([Illinois Extension](https://extension.illinois.edu/flowers/calibrachoa)). Calibrachoa does best with steady moisture and good drainage; avoid leaving pots saturated. Container plants may need more frequent watering during warm weather than plants in garden beds. ## Seasonal interest This tender annual produces a warm-season flower display. In cold climates, grow it as a seasonal bedding or container plant and expect flowering to end with frost. ## Maintenance Water when the surface of the potting mix begins to dry and feed regularly according to product directions. Pinching is part of the breeder’s production guidance; for home gardens, trim stems that become loose or uneven. Regular flower removal is generally not needed.
