Calibrachoa Cabaret® Bright Red

Cabaret® Bright Red is a Calibrachoa selection sold by Ball FloraPlant under the cultivar denomination ‘Balcabrite’. Ball lists it as medium and mounded, with a height of 6–10 inches and spread of 10–12 inches; the Cabaret range is also grown in containers and baskets. [Ball FloraPlant](https://www.ballfloraplant.com/Products/Details/?phid=066003480004472) confirms the selection and measurements; [Florensis](https://www.florensis.com/en/products/bedding-plants/annuals/calibrachoa-parviflora/calibrachoa-parviflora-cabaret) documents the series’ dark green foliage and mounded habit. ## Growing conditions Place in sun in a well-drained growing medium. Ball recommends avoiding wide moisture fluctuations and pinching during production. Kew classifies the genus in Solanaceae ([Plants of the World Online](https://powo.science.kew.org/taxon/urn:lsid:ipni.org:names:38309-1)). ## Maintenance Keep the root zone evenly moist without leaving it saturated. Trim or pinch if needed to maintain shape; [NC State Extension](https://plants.ces.ncsu.edu/plants/calibrachoa-x-hybrida/) notes that routine deadheading is generally unnecessary for calibrachoa.
