About Callie® 'Orange' Calibrachoa

Callie® Orange ('Cal Oran') is a trailing calibrachoa with orange to dark orange-red trumpet-shaped flowers. The [RHS profile](https://www.rhs.org.uk/plants/226814/calibrachoa-callie-orange-cal-oran-callie-series/details) identifies it as a tender perennial usually grown as an annual, flowering from summer into early autumn. ## Growing conditions Choose a sunny, sheltered site and provide moist but well-drained soil or container mix. [Illinois Extension's calibrachoa guide](https://extension.illinois.edu/flowers/calibrachoa) recommends fertile soil, regular feeding in pots, and pinching when a compact shape is desired. ## Garden use Use the bright warm color in a hanging basket, patio planter, or sunny bed with sharp drainage. Its trailing stems soften the edge of a container. ## Maintenance Water when the mix begins to dry, allowing excess water to drain away. Pinch or trim long stems to maintain an even shape, and feed container plants during active growth.
