Superbells® 'Pomegranate Punch' Calibrachoa

Superbells® Pomegranate Punch is a mounding, trailing calibrachoa with velvety red flowers and a black center. Calibrachoa roots are sensitive to waterlogged conditions, so [Illinois Extension recommends](https://extension.illinois.edu/flowers/calibrachoa) fertile soil with good drainage and regular feeding in containers. ## Garden use The rich red flowers suit hanging baskets, mixed containers, and sunny beds where the soil drains freely. Trailing stems can extend up to two feet, making the cultivar useful as a container spiller. ## Maintenance Water when the potting mix begins to dry, then let excess water drain. Feed container plants regularly and trim a few long stems if growth becomes uneven; deadheading is not needed for continued bloom.
