About Conga™ Yellow Deep Calibrachoa

Conga™ Deep Yellow is the Ball FloraPlant selection 'Balcongdel', a compact calibrachoa suited to containers and color bowls. Its trailing stems carry deep yellow flowers from spring until frost, with strongest flowering in full sun. ## Garden use and season The breeder places Conga among its most compact calibrachoas and recommends the series for quart pots and color bowls. This cultivar also works in mixed containers, hanging baskets and sunny bed edges where its trailing stems can spill over the rim. ## Growing conditions Provide full sun and moist, well-drained potting mix. The exact 'Balcongdel' listing gives an approximate height and spread of 6–12 inches. Allow the surface of a container mix to begin drying before watering, then drain excess water. This annual can tolerate some drought once established, but consistent moisture supports active growth. ## Maintenance Conga calibrachoa is naturally compact and self-cleaning, so regular deadheading is unnecessary. Remove damaged stems and refresh container mix as needed. Protect from frost and replace plants after the growing season.
