Cruze® Control Blue has royal purple flowers with a yellow eye, according to the [Foxglove Farms listing](https://www.foxglove-farms.com/annuals-vines.html). Green Fuse Botanicals describes the Cruze® Control series as early flowering, large flowered, and mounded in its [culture sheet](https://green-fuse.com/new/wp-content/uploads/2026/06/Calibrachoa-Cruze%C2%AE-Control.pdf).
## Placement
Use this calibrachoa in a container, hanging basket, or combination planter, where its flowers can be enjoyed at close range. The series is suited to 4–8 inch pots, baskets, and mixed planters. For outdoor growing, choose a sunny position; [NC State Extension’s general calibrachoa guidance](https://plants.ces.ncsu.edu/plants/calibrachoa-x-hybrida/common-name/calibrachoa/) recommends full sun.
## Soil and water
Grow in a free-draining potting mix and keep it evenly moist during active growth. Avoid overwatering, especially in cool or low-light conditions, and let the mix dry somewhat between irrigations as plants mature, following the breeder’s culture guidance.
## Maintenance
The series is self-branching, so routine pinching is generally unnecessary. A light pinch a week or two after transplanting can improve the finished shape. Keep foliage dry when possible and provide good air circulation.
