About Cruze® Control White - Calibrachoa

Cruze® Control White is a compact, large-flowered calibrachoa selection with a controlled, strongly branched habit. Green Fuse Botanicals describes its Cruze® Control series as large-flowered, early to bloom, and strongly branched, with a compact, controlled shape suited to full containers. ## Flowers and size This exact named selection appears in the [Green Fuse Botanicals catalog](https://green-fuse.com/new/wp-content/uploads/2021/06/GreenFuse-Catalog-2021-22_xs.pdf) and the [Welby Gardens 2024–25 product program](https://www.bfgsupply.com/media/9433/2024-2025-welby-product-program.pdf). Green Fuse gives the series a mature height of 6–10 inches and describes its short internodes as producing extra branching and a full container. No separate spread measurement for this selection was found. ## Siting Grow in full sun in a fertile, moist but well-drained mix. The [University of Illinois Extension calibrachoa guide](https://extension.illinois.edu/flowers/calibrachoa) describes these plants as compact and vigorous, recommends full sun and moist, well-drained soil, and gives a May-to-October bloom season. Use the spreading, flowering plant in a sunny pot, basket, window box, or bed edge; protect the roots from standing water. As with other calibrachoas, it is generally treated as a tender perennial grown as a seasonal annual. ## Maintenance Check containers frequently in warm weather and water when the mix begins to dry, allowing excess water to drain. Feed container plants regularly as Illinois Extension recommends for calibrachoa. Trim wayward stems if the display becomes uneven; no cultivar-specific deadheading or pruning requirement was found.
