Create design onlineAbout Noa™ Blue Legend Calibrachoa hybrida
Noa® Blue Legend is a semi-trailing Calibrachoa selected for early flowering and large blooms. The breeder describes the NOA® series as suitable for hanging baskets and gives a series size range of 12–14 inches tall by 12–16 inches wide; the University of Georgia Trial Gardens also records this exact cultivar in its 2018 trial ([Danziger series profile](https://www.danzigeronline.com/series_annuals/noa/); [UGA Trial Gardens](https://ugatrial.hort.uga.edu/Plant-Name/Calibrachoa-Noa-Blue-Legend)).
## Placement and growing conditions
Use it in a sunny hanging basket or container, where its semi-trailing stems can extend over the edge. Calibrachoa generally grows best in full sun and moist, organically rich soil with good drainage. Partial shade is tolerated, but flowering may be reduced. Treat the plant as a tender seasonal annual in regions with frost.
## Flowering
The NOA® series is characterized by early flowering and large blooms. Blue Legend is the cultivar’s trade name; flower display and timing depend on light, warmth, and growing conditions. It can work as a cool-toned element in a mixed basket or patio container.
## Maintenance
Water consistently, especially in hanging baskets that dry quickly, while keeping the root zone from remaining saturated. Feed during the flowering season to support continued growth. Calibrachoa does not need routine removal of faded flowers to keep blooming. Protect it from frost, since it is usually grown as an annual outside mild climates ([NC State Extension](https://plants.ces.ncsu.edu/plants/calibrachoa-x-hybrida/)).
