Create design onlineAbout Noa™ Dark Pink Carnival Calibrachoa hybrida
Noa® Dark Pink Carnival is a semi-trailing Calibrachoa with rich rose-pink flowers and a striking white throat. The RHS identifies it as the cultivar Danoa49, while Danziger describes the NOA® series as early flowering, large-flowered, and well suited to hanging baskets ([RHS cultivar profile](https://www.rhs.org.uk/plants/310447/calibrachoa-noa-dark-pink-carnival-danoa49/details); [Danziger series profile](https://www.danzigeronline.com/series_annuals/noa/)).
## Placement and growing conditions
Grow it in full sun in a hanging basket or container, where its stems can trail over the rim. Calibrachoa grows best in moist, organically rich, well-drained soil. Partial shade is possible but may reduce flower production. The contrast between dark pink petals and a striking white throat gives the cultivar a strong color presence in mixed plantings.
## Flowering
The NOA® series is noted for early flowering and large blooms. A cultivar-specific nursery profile describes Dark Pink Carnival flowering through summer and fall, although timing varies by climate and growing conditions.
## Maintenance
Keep container soil evenly moist and allow excess water to drain; avoid leaving roots in soggy mix. Feed regularly through the flowering season. Routine deadheading is not required for calibrachoa to continue producing flowers. The plant is a tender perennial generally grown as a warm-season annual wherever winter frost occurs ([NC State Extension](https://plants.ces.ncsu.edu/plants/calibrachoa-x-hybrida/)).
