About OMBRE™ Pink Calibrachoa hybrida

OMBRE™ Pink is a semi-trailing Calibrachoa that shows a range of flower colors on each plant. Danziger describes it as early flowering, with large flowers and a 12–14-inch height and width; the breeder also lists pots, hanging baskets, ground cover, and landscape plantings as suitable uses ([breeder profile](https://www.danzigeronline.com/catalog/annuals/ombre-pink/)). ## Placement and growing conditions Plant it in full sun in a basket or container, or along the front of a seasonal bed where its stems can spread. Calibrachoa grows best in moist, organically rich soil with good drainage. Partial shade is tolerated, although flowering may be reduced. The multicolored display can add a blended effect to a container composition. ## Flowering The breeder lists early flowering and large blooms and notes flowering under a 10-hour day as a production trait. This does not establish a minimum daylight requirement for outdoor gardens. Flowering and color expression vary with temperature, light, and care. ## Maintenance Water consistently in containers and allow excess moisture to drain away. Feed during the flowering season to support continued growth. Calibrachoa does not require routine deadheading for continued bloom. It is a tender perennial generally grown as an annual where winter frost occurs ([NC State Extension](https://plants.ces.ncsu.edu/plants/calibrachoa-x-hybrida/)).
