Million Bells® Trailing Blue is a low-growing calibrachoa with a vigorous cascading habit and blue flowers. The cultivar is suited to hanging baskets, window boxes, and the edges of containers or sunny landscape plantings, where its long stems can drape while providing seasonal color.
## Form and seasonal display
[Suntory Flowers’ exact variety profile](https://suntoryflowers.com/variety/million-bells-trailing-blue/) identifies the plant as a Calibrachoa hybrid and describes a trailing habit, a height of 2–6 inches, a spread of 24–48 inches, and deep blue flowers. The breeder lists early spring, spring, and summer seasons and recommends the variety for container gardens, hanging baskets, gardens, and landscapes. These cultivar-specific measurements replace the older short height label; the current numeric spread remains within the breeder’s stated range.
## Siting and soil
Grow in full or partial sun with well-drained soil or potting media. Suntory’s grower guidance calls for high light and a well-drained-to-moist medium. Calibrachoa roots are sensitive to standing water, so use containers with drainage and avoid keeping the root zone saturated.
## Maintenance
Water as the medium begins to dry, then allow free drainage. Feed during active growth according to the fertilizer label. Trailing stems can be pinched during production to shape a fuller container; in the garden, trim only when needed to restore the desired outline. The plant is generally used as a seasonal annual outside climates where it can persist.
