Create design onlineAbout MiniFamous® Neo Orange Deep Calibrachoa
MiniFamous® Neo Orange Deep is a warm-season calibrachoa annual with a naturally trailing habit and a long display of small, bell-shaped flowers. MiniFamous® Neo cultivars are selected for uniform, semi-trailing growth and are commonly used in pots, baskets and mixed combinations. The series typically reaches about 8–12 inches tall and 12–15 inches wide; individual cultivars may vary, so use these as production guidance rather than a fixed landscape maximum ([Selecta One Neo series guide](https://catalog.selectanorthamerica.com/view/891800557)).
## Growing conditions
Give plants full sun and a free-draining container mix. Calibrachoa is sensitive to soil pH and performs best in acidic media; persistently wet roots invite decline. The [University of Minnesota Extension](https://extension.umn.edu/garden-and-home/yard-and-garden/gardening-in-minnesota/calibrachoa) recommends container culture, full sun, well-drained organic potting mix, and acidic media around pH 5–6.5. Water as needed to keep the mix moist, allow slight drying between waterings, and ensure excess water drains freely.
## Seasonal display
Use the semi-trailing growth over the edge of a basket or planter, or combine it with upright annuals. Feed regularly during active growth because calibrachoa produces many flowers. It is tender to frost and is normally replaced after the growing season in climates with cold winters.
## Maintenance
Maintain drainage, irrigate before severe wilting, and feed every one to two weeks according to fertilizer directions. Remove damaged stems and lightly trim excess growth if needed. Calibrachoa is self-cleaning and does not need routine deadheading.
