MiniFamous® Neo Orange Red Eye is a calibrachoa selection in the MiniFamous Neo series. Its semi-trailing growth suits containers, hanging baskets, and mixed combinations.
## Cultivar and form
The Royal Horticultural Society lists the related trade styling “MiniFamous Neo Orange + Redeye” with cultivar code Kleca16334 ([RHS cultivar entry](https://www.rhs.org.uk/plants/379321/calibrachoa-minifamous-neo-orange-+-redeye-kleca16334-minifamous-series/details)). Selecta describes the Neo series as medium vigor and semi-trailing, with typical dimensions of 8–12 inches tall by 12–15 inches wide ([Selecta One Neo series guide](https://catalog.selectanorthamerica.com/view/891800557)).
## Growing conditions
Provide full sun and a free-draining container mix. Calibrachoa is sensitive to soil pH and performs best in acidic media; constantly wet roots can decline. The [University of Minnesota Extension](https://extension.umn.edu/garden-and-home/yard-and-garden/gardening-in-minnesota/calibrachoa) recommends container culture, full sun, well-drained organic potting mix, and acidic media around pH 5–6.5. Water to keep the mix moist, allow slight drying between waterings, and keep drainage holes clear.
## Seasonal display
Calibrachoa is tender to frost and is commonly grown as a seasonal annual in cold-winter climates. The semi-trailing form fits hanging baskets, window boxes, and the front edge of mixed planters.
## Maintenance
Feed regularly during active growth, water before severe wilting, and remove damaged stems. Calibrachoa is self-cleaning and generally does not need deadheading.
