The plant branches well and trails over hanging baskets and planters, while also fitting mixed containers. Ball lists bees and butterflies among visitors and identifies the plant as heat tolerant. ## Light and watering Give it sun and a well-drained container mix. Ball lists medium water; the retailer advises allowing the soil surface to dry before watering again and avoiding excess water, which can contribute to root problems. Keep pots where trailing stems can grow freely. ## Maintenance This selection is self-cleaning, so routine deadheading is unnecessary. Check containers regularly in warm weather and water when the mix begins to dry. Allow enough room for its trailing stems to spill over the edge of a hanging basket or planter.
