About Noa® 'Mega Magenta' Calibrachoa

Noa® Mega Magenta is a named Danziger selection in the Noa series of hybrid Calibrachoa. The breeder lists it among the series’ trailing selections, and the Royal Horticultural Society identifies the exact selection as Noa Mega Magenta (‘Dannoa39’). The current catalog record describes a compact plant about 6–8 inches tall and 12–18 inches wide. ## Flowers and form Danziger groups Noa Mega Magenta with its trailing Noa varieties, a habit suited to containers where stems can drape over an edge. The RHS page also records Calibrachoa ‘Dannoa39’ as a synonym, linking the selection code to the trade name. Calibrachoa has small, trumpet-shaped flowers and is commonly used in pots and hanging baskets, as described by [Auckland Botanic Gardens](https://www.aucklandbotanicgardens.co.nz/science/research/articles/calibrachoa-bedding-trial/). ## Placement Place the plant near the rim of a basket or container and leave room for trailing stems. The [Danziger annuals catalog](https://www.danzigeronline.com/files/smart-view/annuals_22-23_row/) gives general Noa-series size guidance, while the current 6–8 inch height and 12–18 inch width are retained for this catalog selection. ## Maintenance The reviewed cultivar references do not set a specific irrigation, fertilizer, or pruning schedule. Use a free-draining container mix and adjust watering to the weather and container size; avoid treating general series guidance as a cultivar-specific calendar.
