Rapido Blue is an early-flowering selection of Carpathian bellflower (Campanula carpatica), a compact perennial with a tight mound of dark green leaves and upright, violet-blue bells. PanAmerican Seed describes the Rapido series as blooming up to four weeks earlier than other C. carpatica varieties and lists spring through summer flowering. The live height and spread are retained because they match the breeder’s 5–7 inch by 5–8 inch ranges.
## Flowers and form
The flowers are open, cup-shaped bells carried above the foliage. North Carolina State Extension identifies Rapido Blue as an early bloomer with violet-blue flowers on a tight mound of dark green leaves. The cultivar is suited to a small border edge, rock garden, patio planter, or compact perennial planting.
## Siting
Give it sun or part shade and use well-drained soil. PanAmerican lists the cultivar in zones 3a–9b and notes its suitability for planters and gardens. The current live zone range already spans 3–9, so no numeric zone change is needed.

## Maintenance
Keep the root area from becoming excessively wet or dry, especially in hot weather. NCSU Extension notes that cool roots and adequate moisture during dry periods support this species; dividing clumps every few years can help maintain vigor. Deadheading spent flowers may extend the display.
