Create design onlineAbout Rapido White Campanula
Rapido White is an early-flowering selection of Carpathian bellflower (Campanula carpatica), forming a compact mound of dark green leaves with pure white bell-shaped flowers. PanAmerican Seed describes this selection as blooming up to four weeks earlier than other C. carpatica varieties and lists spring through summer flowering. The current 5–7 inch height and 5–8 inch spread match the breeder’s dimensions and are retained.
## Flowers and form
The flowers are upright, open bells held above the low foliage. North Carolina State Extension lists Rapido White as mounded, with dark green foliage and pure white flowers. Its compact form can fit a small border, rock garden, patio planter, or mixed perennial container.
## Siting
Choose sun or part shade and soil that drains well. PanAmerican Seed lists zones 3a–9b and suitability for planters and gardens; the live catalog’s zone range of 3–9 is consistent with that guidance. Avoid leaving the root area either waterlogged or excessively dry.

## Maintenance
Provide adequate moisture during dry spells while keeping the soil well drained. The species can be divided in spring or late summer every few years to maintain vigor. Removing faded flowers may prolong flowering, though the available cultivar pages do not require a fixed deadheading routine.
