Campfire Flame Bidens

Campfire Flame is a warm-colored hybrid Bidens with red, orange, and yellow flowers. Its branching, mounded growth gives sunny beds and containers a long display of color. ## Garden use and appearance Proven Winners identifies the exact selection as ‘INBIDCAMEM’ and describes flowers in red, orange, and yellow, with an 8–14 inch height and 10–16 inch spread ([Campfire Flame](https://www.provenwinners.com/plants/bidens/campfire-flame-bidens-hybrid)). The breeder lists it for containers and landscape plantings and notes that its flowers attract bees. It gives USDA zones 9a–11b, represented here as zones 9–11. ## Growing conditions Plant in full sun for the strongest flowering. Use well-drained soil and water regularly while the plant establishes. Once established, it tolerates heat, though pots and baskets can still dry quickly in hot weather. Its compact scale works at the front of a sunny border or among other warm-season annuals. ## Seasonal interest Proven Winners lists spring-to-fall flowering and a self-cleaning habit. The mixed warm hues pair well with purple foliage, blue flowers, or silver-leaved companions. ## Maintenance Check small pots often during hot spells and water when the mix begins to dry. Trim lightly if stems become untidy; routine deadheading is generally unnecessary according to the breeder. Treat it as an annual outside its listed hardiness range.
