Summer Jazz™ Sunrise Gold Trumpet Vine

[Summer Jazz™ Sunrise Gold](https://starrosesandplants.com/plants/summer-jazz-sunrise-gold-campsis/) is a compact trumpet vine with peach flowers that mature to yellow, accented by orange-red throats and red veins. Its upright habit and small stature make it suitable for a patio trellis, fence, or container. ## Form and flowering Star Roses and Plants lists the vine at about 3 feet tall and wide, with a summer retail season and USDA hardiness zones 5–9. The cultivar denomination is ‘Takarazuka Yellow’; U.S. Plant Patent PP23,918 was issued September 24, 2013. The patent record describes flowers opening peach and maturing yellow, with red-veined orange throats. This is grant information only, not a statement about current legal status. ## Growing conditions Grow in full sun and provide support for climbing stems. The compact cultivar is suited to small trellises, arbors, and patio containers. The breeder notes that the flower color changes as blooms mature, so a plant may show peach and yellow flowers at the same time. ## Maintenance Train new growth onto its support and prune in early spring to maintain shape. Water regularly until established, and check container moisture more often in warm weather. Remove damaged stems as needed.
