Acapulco™ Red Ornamental Pepper

Acapulco™ Red is a compact ornamental pepper with bright red fruit on a small plant suited to pots and seasonal displays. PanAmerican Seed and Ball Seed identify this selection by product code PAS1112540. ## Form and Season The exact product listing gives a height of about 6 inches and a width of 6–8 inches, with summer as the blooming season and sun exposure. Compact growth was developed for shorter production times and does not require plant growth regulators in commercial production. The listed production scale is a 4.25-by-5-inch pot, with fruit about 0.5 by 1.5 inches. ## Growing Place in a sunny position and use a well-drained container mix. As a tender pepper, grow it outdoors after frost danger has passed. The selection is suited to warm-season indoor or outdoor displays. ## Maintenance Keep the pot evenly watered during active growth, allowing excess water to drain.
