Carex EverColor® 'Everillo'

EverColor® ‘Everillo’ is a clump-forming Japanese sedge with bright lime-yellow foliage. Its arching leaves form a compact mound for edging paths, filling a container, or adding a clear color accent beneath shrubs. ## Foliage and form The breeder describes ‘Everillo’ as a mound-forming Carex oshimensis with lime-yellow leaves and mature dimensions near 0.50 m high and wide. Southern Living and Flowerwood give a more compact size of 12–18 inches high and wide. Both describe the foliage as colorful through the year, with Flowerwood listing chartreuse and yellow tones. ## Siting Grow ‘Everillo’ in full sun to part shade; partial shade can help in hot or bright sites. Use it as a groundcover, low edging, or a container accent. Choose well-drained garden soil and provide moderate water, especially while the plant establishes.
